AIRLINE SUPPORT ENGINEERING GROUP
The Airline Support Engineering (ASE) group serves as the liaison support to heavy and line maintenance operations. These engineers work closely with the operation groups to identify and analyze findings as early as possible in an effort to avoid potential issues that would cause interruption to the aircraft schedule.
CERTIFICATIONS AND PROJECTS GROUP
The Certifications and Projects Group has extensive experience with aircraft modifications, having developed in excess of 100 STCs, and can provide engineering and program management for design, integration, fabrication and certification of aftermarket upgrades and modifications. We solve complex airline operational and heavy maintenance issues as part of our daily tasks:
- FAA coordination via in-house Designated-Engineering-Representatives (DERs)
- FAA parts manufacturing approval
- Kit manufacturing
- Wire harness design & build
- Damage assessment
- FAA service bulletin & AD compliance
- Repair design
- Stress analysis
- Structural substantiation
INSTALLATION DESIGN APPROVALS
In addition, we are able to continually mitigate parts availability issues for our customers by offering significant in-house reverse engineering and manufacturing capabilities to supply critical path parts and minimize schedule impact. Our Manufacturing capability, coupled with on-site Engineering staff, has allowed us to provide our customers with on-demand OEM and customer repair parts. We produce parts under guidelines meeting OEM standards and customer requirements. The success in teaming engineering, manufacturing, and Component Repair/Overhaul has proven to return aircraft to service sooner, meeting customer requirements.
