COST-EFFECTIVE COMPONENT REPAIR AND OVERHAUL
We have developed a cost-effective Component Repair and Overhaul (CRO) division with EASA and AS9100D approval. Our goal is to provide repair parts to the broader aviation industry from our 100,000 sq. ft. facility located in Wilmington, Ohio. Customers of our CRO product line receive the benefit of a facility that was designed to support our sister airlines and has been enhanced with equipment and experienced technicians to meet the needs of our Part 145 repair stations and expanded customer base.

AVIONICS & INSTRUMENT SHOPS
The Avionics and Instrument Shops at Airborne are FAA rated for Radio I, II, III and Instrument rated I, II, III, IV. They occupy a modern facility with temperature and humidity controlled environment. The Instrument Shop is a class 100,000 clean room. The Avionics Shop features an IRIS 2000 (RF) Automatic Test Station and an Environmental Test Chamber for “live” temperature testing of LRU’s.

The Electrical Shop at Airborne offers full-service maintenance of batteries, aircraft lighting, electrical, and electro-mechanical components.
MECHANICAL COMPONENT SHOP
The Mechanical Shop at Airborne offers full-service maintenance of mechanical accessories, hydraulic components, equipment and furnishings, and electro-mechanical components.
WHEEL SHOP
The Wheel Shop at Airborne has extensive experience in repairing and overhauling wheels for many aircraft types.
SHEET METAL/COMPOSITE/WELD SHOP
The Airborne Component, Composite, and Welding Shops have complete repair and manufacturing capabilities (see capabilities list for specific airframe types). Our trained and experienced technicians specialize in the repair of all removable components, including but not limited to flight controls, doors, panels, inlet cowls, fairings, and thrust reversers.
Airborne’s Sheet Metal, Composite, and Welding Shops are capable of supporting AOG, one-time, short-run, and large scale production manufacturing requests of customer-specific items.
